Responsibilities:
  • Oversee project lifecycle activities such as planning, requirement gathering, design, build, validation, implementation and post-implementation support of the Veeva applications.
  • Operate as the acting IT liaison between internal business partners and outside vendors.
  • Provide technical expertise on configuration, customization for Veeva releases and projects.
  • Provide technical expertise on integration technologies such as APIs, Web Services and ETL.
  • Lead business stakeholders through the Business Analysis life cycle and Computer System Validation.
  • Identify and promote new platform features and drive adoption.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor or Advanced Graduate degree/s in information technology/business solutions or general business or life sciences.
  • 5+ years of experience in an IT role overseeing the implementation of cloud-based technology.
  • A minimum of three (3) years hands-on technical Veeva experience required. Ideal candidates will have implemented various modules within Veeva.
  • Experience in development of Interfaces/Integration between Veeva platform and other systems.
  • Prior experience in pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry and an understanding of clinical development and regulations (Good Clinical Practice, 21 CFR Part 11)
  • Ability to manage technical issues and root cause analysis across various Veeva Vaults.
  • Recommend technical solutions and improvements to R&D vaults in order to streamline processes and improve application usability.
  • Anticipates unique customer service needs and plans support accordingly.
  • Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to drive projects, meet timelines, and deliver results.
  • Ability to work within both Agile and Waterfall development methodologies.
  • Analytical thinker, with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Able to be self-directed, within the framework of IT, compliance and corporate policies, and to thrive in a small company environment, working independently and/or with small teams, and with limited support.
