The Full Desk Perm Division Recruiter (Bioscience) runs a dual desk that includes responsibilities for both business development and recruitment.  As part of business development responsibilities, the Perm Recruiters will cultivate client relationships across all industries by consulting clients with regards to staffing needs, process improvement and strategy. Perm Recruiters are encouraged to partner with client decision makers in various areas of the organization, i.e.:  HR: VP’s, Directors, Recruiters, Staffing Specialists, etc. as well as the hiring manager community (key decision makers within the departments)  in order to facilitate successful permanent placements of Lifesciences professionals across many disciplines. The goal is, ultimately, to generate revenue and increase market share.  Recruitment responsibilities include sourcing, screening, interviewing and placing Life Science professionals, primarily in Pharmaceuticals within spaces that include R&D, Pharmacovigilance, Regulatory Affairs, Medical Affairs, Clinical Operations & Development, Medical Directors across all Therapeutic areas, etc.  With this role you will gain tremendous exposure to many areas within pharmaceuticals and the positions that support the organizations in their endeavors for drug discovery and development.


  • Foster account development and generating new business through leads and referrals from candidates and/or clients
  • Manage relationships with clients by partnering to provide staffing solutions
  • Consult with client hiring managers to thoroughly qualify hiring needs
  • Develop a pipeline of candidates to meet clients' current and future needs
  • Develop creative sourcing strategies by leveraging resources to recruit high caliber candidates through online social networking, job boards, community recruitment, and professional networking.
  • Interview and assess candidates’ qualifications through a combination of behavioral interviews and competency based evaluations
  • Facilitate interviews between the candidate and client, including candidate preparation and client briefings
  • Conduct debrief with candidate and client following interviews
  • Facilitates AP and client specific hiring and on-boarding processes
  • Screen work history, personal references, credentials, and education
  • Pro-actively present highly marketable candidates to appropriate firms
  • Manage relationships with candidates for current and future career opportunities
  • Schedule and be present for all initial and follow up meetings to ensure successful placement of candidates
  • Maintain and update thorough, accurate, and compliant documentation of all client and candidate communications via internal recruitment software
  • Conduct quality calls to clients and associates to ensure satisfaction is met on both ends


    • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of recruiting experience (preferably prior experience working for an agency) with a track record of success
  • Strong experience in cross selling, recruiting functions, and client relations
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Outgoing personality with strong organizational and customer service skills
  • High energy, excellent focus, relentless drive, team player
  • Sales-driven with perseverance and have a track record of achieving goals
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure meeting continuing deadlines
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
