Responsibilities:

  • Assist with clinical, economic, and patient-directed proposition development related to company products
  • Guide the production of HEOR procedures and supporting strategies
  • Support product value propositions as well as Medical, Commercial, and Market Access plans by establishing creative and inventive solutions
  • Accurately guide outside research partners to make sure projects are scientifically correct, medically significant, and apply to business, patient, care provider, and payer needs
  • Help develop AMCP along with other value dossiers, peer-review issuances, and care tool quality for supporting formulary decision making and population treatments
  • Train coworkers on correct methodologies and data results
  • Administer technical maintenance to research support staff and act as a resource for research design, methodologies, analytic techniques, and health economic and outcome research reports
  • Strengthen clinical development programs and product access by establishing strong working relationships with cross functional coworkers 

Requirements:

  • PhD, MD, MPH, or PharmD in a scientific discipline
  • Clinical background with advanced quantitative training with MPH/MS in related field
  • 7 or more years of health economics and outcome research experience
  • At least 3 years of experience working in a pharmaceutical or biotech environment
  • Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, managed care marketplace hospital systems, and integrated care systems
  • Proven competency in medical science, clinical trials, outcomes research, epidemiology, drug development, and pharmacoeconomics
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Experience in Neuroscience/CNS therapy preferred
